Since the original headlight on the R9T Racer is very big and makes the beautiful half-shell look clumsy, Jens from JVB has come up with something really nice.
This kit contains a nice small 5 3/4 LED headlight (with daytime running light & dipped beam) as well as an unpainted GFK cover to be able to integrate the smaller headlight perfectly into the original half-shell. In addition, all installation materials are included. We recommend ordering the switch set for daytime running lights as well, so that you can switch from dipped headlights to daytime running lights (in this case only the LED ring lights up) see accessories in this description.
Notice:
This conversion kit is JvB-moto vehicle specific conversion parts and a universal LED headlight insert. The connection of the LED headlight is complicated. It must be connected individually to the existing vehicle electronics. Additional items for connection such as. a resistor for the parking light may be necessary. Due to the low power decrease of the LED headlight, it is possible that the bus system of the vehicle declares the lighting as defective and displays it as a fault in the speedometer. Due to changes in the series on the part of the vehicle manufacturer, it is not possible to prevent such an error message from the outset by an appropriate scope of supply and offer a solution in any case.
