Magura HC-3 BMW R9T Brems / Kupllungs Kit

The Magura HC-3 pumps are probably with the best-known brake / clutch fittings on the market. What makes them so special is that they have through a sophisticated adjustment the possibility of adjusting the hand lever feel (the force that must be applied when pulling) in 3 variants. This has the effect of increasing or decreasing the piston diameter of the pump by 1mm each.

Armature as well as lever are made of milled aluminum.
The pumps are available in either gold or black. The lever is a light, black lever, which is Klappbar.

Speak we deliver in the kit:

• The Magura HC-3 brake / clutch aramtur
• Brake / clutch lines (suitable for the original handlebars & all accessories handlebars from our range. Who has stubs on his motorcycle, which can contact us, we then deliver with shorter lines). The Lines are colpete black
• Brake fluid at the brake kit 
• Clutch fluid for the clutch kit / We supply here special fluid on silicone basis, which is compatible with the clutch system of the motorcycle as well as with the armature.

We supply:

• In the clutch kit: 15mm pump (which can be adjusted down to 14mm and up to 16mm by its integrated adjustment).
• In the brake kit: 18mm pump (which can be adjusted to 17mm down and 19mm up by its integrated adjustment).

From the factory, the fittings are supplied with 2 small red applications (see photos). Who does not like that, which can still order a black or silver color kit and the things easy to replace (see accessory items in this description).
The Magura fittings are supplied WITHOUT mirror mounts. Who wants to mount normal mirrors, which must still order Magura mirror clamps to it (see accessory article in this description).

The brake pump is supplied with ABE. It must be made only a Anbautechnische acceptance at the TÜV and no acceptance according to §21.
From the Euro 4 models is currently in the ABE unfortunately only, the 15mm pump. However, we have installed both the 15mm and the 18mm pump and felt the pressure point of the 18mm variant as significantly better. A registration of a larger pump should also be no problem (on request, we can of course also deliver the 15er pump).

MILLED ALUMINUM HOUSING

• This fitting is made of high quality aluminum, which results in a very high stiffness paired with low weight.

90° RADIAL DESIGN

• The pressure rod and cylinder are located at a 90° angle to the handlebar. This results in less transmission loss and a more direct brake feel for better control.

ABS COMPATIBILITY

• MAGURA HCT is suitable for use with all ABS systems currently on the market. (as of 01.2016)

3-FOLD ADJUSTABLE LEVER BEARING POINT

• With its adjustable lever bearing point, the HC3 offers the option of making the hand lever feel harder or softer by simply changing the position of the lever bearing screw, which would be equivalent to changing the piston diameter by approximately 1 mm larger or smaller. All three settings provide 90° full-radial actuation.

CLIP LOCK

• Reduces the risk of damage in the event of a drop or fall. Function remains intact.

ADVANCED SEAL TECHNOLOGY

• This innovative technology reduces or prevents air from entering the hydraulic system. Under extreme conditions, such as those encountered in racing, this can be the case.

EXPANSION TANK KIT

• The fitting is supplied with an external expansion tank and associated holder. The smoked glass used allows easy checking of the fluid level at any time.

TITANIUM MOUNTING SCREWS

• Wherever possible and practical, MAGURA has used titanium as a material. Titanium is lightweight and corrosion resistant.

COUPLING FITTING

• Piston diameter 15 mm = 14 16 mm (for DOT)

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

• Each HC³ is delivered ready for installation with the following package contents:
• 3-fold adjustable lever bearing (corresponds to ± 1 mm hydraulic change)
• Banjo bolt with sealing rings (M10 x 1)
• Decoupled expansion tank
• Standard clamp (without mirror mount)
• Brake light or start fuse switch
• ABE for brake fittings (for diameter 15 and 18 mm)
