Unit Garage High 2-1 top-mounted exhaust system for all BMW R nineT models.


The 2-1 high exhaust fits all models that have a factory-fitted under-slung exhaust when the original pillion/subframe is installed. If the original subframe is removed and replaced with the Unit Garage holder (must be purchased separately), then this exhaust also fits models that have a factory-fitted over-slung exhaust.

The above-lying 2-1 exhaust from Unit Garage in Italy is probably the most radical exhaust for the BMW R nineT series. 
The short, above-lying damper in GP style ensures a really free rear. So short that the rear area remains nicely free and visible and so high up that the beautiful wheel of the R9T is really visible. 
We mounted the exhaust ourselves on our own Scrambler & Pure and are absolutely thrilled with the exhaust system.

And all with an E-number (street legal). For Swiss customers, we can also issue an extra certificate.

The exhaust systems from Unit Garage are, on the one hand, very well made and, on the other hand, sound more than awesome, which you wouldn't think at first glance with such a small silencer. But they really do! Really nice and throaty, muffled bass.
The rear silencers are supplied with removable DB killers.

Weight reduction:
The exhaust is very light due to its design and provides a weight reduction of 2.8kg - 4.7kg.

If you want to mount the exhaust on an R nineT without the pillion / subframe, you have to order an additional exhaust bracket (see accessories article in this description).

You can choose between 3 levels using the switch.1. exhaust flap permanently closed2. exhaust flap works as in standard condition3. exhaust flap permanently open   The exhaust flap closes and opens depending on the engine speed and throttle position in the standard state. This has an influence on the sound and draft.With the flap open, the sound is audibly more powerful, with the flap closed, it is quieter. The engine revs up a little more willingly and with more bite when the flap is open.The loud cold start of the EU5 model can be significantly reduced with the flap closed, which even pleases the neighbors. Also very interesting for the guys with louder exhaust systems who come into an inspection... with the flap closed, even a loud exhaust becomes rather quiet.   Easy to fit, suitable for all BMW R nineT models. The anti-vibration dampers, must be üebrnommen from the original holder.
