Zard 2-2 Slip-On muffler for R9T Scrambler.

A Scrambler exhaust as it is in the book! This is exactly how the exhaust must look on a Scrambler. Two slim, tapered mufflers that are nice and tight on top of each other. That paired with the grilles at the end of the exhaust provides just the right look that a Scrambler needs!
In addition, the exhaust also impresses with its beautifully muffled and rich sound, as it should be for a 2-cylinder boxer.

The sound is already audibly better and throatier through the exhaust, but in our ears does not bring the desired AHA effect that one hopes for.
We recommend the people who like it a little more throaty and louder, our additional Zard Racing DB-killers to order (See accessories article in this description without road approval). With the racing DB-killers the bike then has the throaty and nice dull bassy sound that a 1200cc engine should have! The advantage here remains that a DB-killer is installed, the bike is not too loud and it looks like everything is original.

In the basic version, the exhaust is supplied in stainless steel blank (also looks very nice). Optionally, the exhaust can also be ordered in black ceramic-coated.

Determine for yourself what the exhaust flap does and how the exhaust sounds. You can choose between 3 levels using the switch.1. exhaust flap permanently closed2. exhaust flap works as in standard condition3. exhaust flap permanently open   The exhaust flap closes and opens depending on the engine speed and throttle position in the standard state. This has an influence on the sound and draft.With the flap open, the sound is audibly more powerful, with the flap closed, it is quieter. The engine revs up a little more willingly and with more bite when the flap is open.The loud cold start of the EU5 model can be significantly reduced with the flap closed, which even pleases the neighbors. Also very interesting for the guys with louder exhaust systems who come into an inspection... with the flap closed, even a loud exhaust becomes rather quiet.   Easy to fit, suitable for all BMW R nineT models. Mounting material included. Illustrated installation instructions are included!The small control unit is simply inserted between the actuator of the exhaust flap. Plug&Play without cutting cables, soldering, crimping or similar. Raisch racing DB Killer for Zard short exhaust systems. More sound + more performance through more throughput. Approx. 40% larger hole. With our DB Killer there are now 3 sound variants available for the Zard systems. With original DB Killer, with Raisch DB Killer or without. Our DB killers are without ABE. They are supplied in pairs.To be honest, with the original DB-killers you only get a very small sound compared to the standard version. Since most of them do not want to drive without DB-killers, we have made this more open variant. It looks like you have a legal DB-killer in it, but it sounds really good! With these db-killers the Zard systems get the sound they need.
