The gear levers, like most metal parts on the R9T's, have the unattractive die-cast surface, which doesn't look very classy. But we can also coat them with black powder! Attention! With this article you order ONLY order the SERVICE that we powder coat your original parts. So you have to send us your parts and we will send them back after we powder coated them in black. Together with the black coating of your R9T's footrest system (see accessories article in this description), you get a completely black footrest system. You simply send us your gear lever, we sandblast it, tape all the places that have to remain free and coat it black (RAL9005). Duration until you have your part coated black again: approx. 2 - 3 weeks.

The LSL Ergonia footrest is made of forged aluminium, finely bead blasted and finely milled on the upper side, resulting in a very noble surface finish. Optically, the footrests are an absolute eye-catcher, the fine but not too pointed teeth provide a light cross ratchet look. With a length of 80mm, the rests offer the perfect compromise between comfort (wide support) and sportiness (not too fast to put on). The rubber insert of the footrests can be easily removed (see photo of the green footrest). Visually, the footrest looks even more radical without the rubber. With rubber perfect for comfort and touring, without rubber for the sporty ride and aggressive look. For mounting on the motorcycle, additional, model-specific adapters are required. Adjustable, CNC milled aluminium footrest system for the BMW R9T Classic Euro3 & Euro4 models.This footrest system is made of high quality aluminium, which is also used in aircraft construction. Er funktioniert wirklich überragend! In erster Linie ist so ein Quickshifter natürlich richtig geil, wenn man grade richtig sportlich unterwegs ist und die Gänge möglichst schnell durchschalten will. Einfach unter Volllast einen Gang hochschalten und der Automat übernimmt die Arbeit für dich. Schneller kann man nicht schalten!Allerdings ist es auch beim entspannten Fahren durch die City sehr angenehm nicht bei jedem hochschalten die Kupplung ziehen zu müssen. Ich finde es besonders angenehm, wenn man etwas zügiger von 20 km/h auf z.B. 70-80 km/h durchbeschleunigt und man Gang für Gang entspannt durchschalten kann.  Für alle die nicht wissen was ein Schaltautomat macht. Dieser unterbricht beim Schaltvorgang (nur beim Gänge hoch schalten) die Zündung. Das erlaubt dir, dass du ohne die Kupplung zu ziehen & ohne Gas weg zu nehmen die Gänge hochschalten kannst.
