Product information "Drilling template fittings / handlebars R9T"
When fitting a new handlebar to all BMW R Nine T models, it is necessary to drill two holes in the new handlebar. The original fittings are then locked in place.
Since it is not easy to drill a hole in round material (like a handlebar) and these have to be exactly opposite, we offer this drilling template. This is simply put around the handlebar and screwed. So it is very easy to drill the two holes exactly opposite each other.

An absolute must for anyone who wants to make his R9T a real CafeRacer. Because this is simply a mute bucket, there is no way around! These give the R9T a nice flat and coherent line, as it is for a CafeRacer.

If you mount the stubs, we recommend to order the caps for the original handlebar mount. This makes the original fork bridge look as if it were without recordings. (see accessories)
Cross Bar Handlebar 805mm

The crossbar is slightly flatter, wider and slightly less inclined towards the rider than the original handlebar (the original width of teh R9T handlebar is 780 mm).
The handlebars provide a more front-wheel-oriented riding position, giving the rider more control over the front wheel and the motorcycle. The 25 mm more width also gives the rider more control over the motorcycle, resulting in a more active riding experience. Sitting further forward means sportier, but not more uncomfortable! For many riders, this riding position is even more comfortable than an upright riding position.
The handlebars are made of aluminum and are supplied with ABE. All cables and wires fit, i.e. the handlebars can be easily replaced. The original handlebar end caps no longer fit (we recommend using the Rizoma handlebar end weights or converting to handlebar end indicators - as on the motorcycle in the pictures / see accessories in this description).
The handlebars have a beautiful matt pearlescent finish in both black and silver.
In order to be able to mount the original fittings, 2 small holes must be drilled in the handlebars (these must be exactly opposite each other). We offer a drilling template with which these holes can be drilled quickly and easily. See accessories in this description.
Attention a 28.6mm Fat Bar clamp is required!
Attention, if your motorcycle does not have a Fat Bar handlebar clamp ex works (the handlebar has a diameter of 28mm in the middle and 22mm on the outside), you must also order a Fat Bar handlebar mount. This is the case, for example, with a Street Twin / Speed Twin 900 or the Triumph Scrambler 865.On all BMW R nineT models, Triumph Speed Twin 1200, Street Scrambler / Scrambler 900, the handlebars can simply be replaced with the original handlebars.

The perfect allrounder handlebar for all R9T´s . You sit much more relaxed on the motorcycle, making it much more suitable for touring. In addition, the bike is more controllable & rideable as you have more feel to the front wheel. This handlebars does not choose as much from the original as the other two handlebars we offer. However, it offers a much more comfortable grip due to its more active cranking.
The handlebar is made of aluminium and comes with ABE. All cables and pulls are sufficient (i.e. the handlebars can easily be exchanged). The conversion includes a ready-to-mount clip-on handlebar KIT including a new CNC-milled, upper triple clamp in gp Racing style and all additional attachments required. After mounting, the handlebar stems are about 5 cm higher than the standard version. The handling also improves because the entire handlebars increase by about 8 cm in width. This results in a much more comfortable, but still sporty seating position on the motorcycle.
All attachments are high quality black anodized and come with parts certificate and mounting instructions. Thus, nothing is in the way of an entry in the vehicle documents

The Naked Bar lies between the original handlebar and the CrossBar a little bit flatter than the original one & slightly wider (790mm) than the original one (original width is 780mm). However, the handlebar does not rise as steeply to the ends as the original one. This makes for a better line (because the handlebars look nice and straight) and also for a better riding feeling.In our opinion, this is the best handlebar for the R9T for a good driving experience. The handlebar comes closest to the well known Roadster handlebar which we use a lot for the Triumph models.The handlebar is made of aluminium and comes with ABE. The Fat Bar handlebar is as wide as the original BMW R9T handlebar. However, it is a bit flatter and grader than the original.
