Step 2: Jack up the machine on the main stand or free the rear wheel.Mark the initial application point on the chain wheel in the middle of the chain wrap and start applying the HKS extreme there. The chain is loose and kinked in the area of the middle of the chain wrap. The HKS extrem, which is extremely thin at first, can thus reach the highly loaded chain pins and refresh the internal lubrication (provided the X/O rings, which are usually "tired" and leak after about 3000- 5000 km). Step 3: 1. shake HKS extreme spray can well, the lubrication process should be done in 4 passes.2. two passes each right and left between the inner and outer lug.3. two passes each on the right and left between the inner plate and the roller.For narrow chains, spraying between the outer plate and the inner plate is sufficient.The distribution in the roller area results by itself.HKS can be applied in extremely fine doses by applying slight finger pressure to the fine dosing spray head.Minimal ambient fogging and economical consumption are the success.During spraying, keep turning the chain until the initial application mark is reached. - Do not omit any chain link! Process should not be repeated, evaporation time and sealing effect start immediately.5. Allow to evaporate for 3-5 minutes, then drive immediately.HKS extreme is compressed by the tensile load that occurs when accelerating, resulting in the formation of a lubricating film that acts like a plastic coating and therefore does not allow foreign bodies to adhere to it. Tip:For the formation of the coating effect - motorcycles from the Enduro range approx. 5 km on firm asphalt drive. As soon as the first 2-5 rollers become bare, relubricate as prescribed. Chain cleaning is not necessary if HKS extrem is used exclusively.The HKS extrem lubricating film has a long-term lubrication behavior for extremely loaded chains. For example, one lubrication lasts for at least 2,500 km on a 100 HP machine. When used correctly, HKS extreme is very productive and it is impossible for it to spin off.  

2-component cleaner Consisting of cleaner spray and neutralizer spray. HKS-R creates optimum conditions for the initial application of HKS extreme. HKS-R was developed at the request of many customers so that the lubricating effect of HKS lubrication products starts immediately. To ensure optimum chain cleaning, a 2-component solution is required. Not only the external dirt must be removed before lubrication, but also the chain-destroying dirt from the chain interior, which could creep in, for example, after fatigue of the sealing rings. Only after careful cleaning with HKS-R CLEANER and application of HKS-R NEUTRALIZER can a new lubricating film penetrate, e.g. to the highly loaded chain pins. It is important that the cleaning agent is completely removed so that the lubricating film to be applied afterwards can adhere optimally. After treatment with HKS-R, the penetration of lubricants, e.g. of HKS extreme, into the chain interior to the highly loaded chain pins is absolutely ensured. Step 1:Jack up the machine on the main stand or free the rear wheel. To avoid contamination of the stand surface, use newspaper or a drip pan. Step 2:Application Component 1HKS-R CLEANERCleaning and preparation for perfect chain lubrication!Start at the chain wheel in the middle of the chain wrap and spray the chain or dirty rim thoroughly with component HKS-R REINIGER and allow to act. Then wipe chain or rim with a cloth or brush. Repeat process until all foreign matter has been removed. Step 3:Application Component 2HKS-R NEUTRALIZERStart at the chain wheel in the middle of the chain wrap and spray the chain or dirty rim thoroughly with component HKS-R NEUTRALIZER and allow to act. The chain will now be absolutely clean from the outside and inside. After approx. 3-5 minutes (when the white coating has evaporated and the chain has regained its normal appearance), apply chain lubricant e.g. HKS extreme high performance chain lubricant. The sealing rings are in the state of shrinkage, so that the lubricant also reaches completely into the inner life of the chain, to the highly loaded chain pins. After another 3-5 minutes the sealing rings regain their normal condition. HKS-R creates optimal conditions for the initial application of HKS extremely high-performance chain lubricant.
