A very well-known weak point on the air-cooled Twins is the sealing of the sprocket carrier. The original aluminum bushing runs in very quickly, the sealing lip of the oil ring dissolves and there is no longer a proper seal. The result is water penetration and Gammel, especially at the ligendem bearing behind it.Our sealing kit provides a remedy. The bushing is made of stainless steel and no longer runs in. A new oil seal is of course included.
