BlackLine 525 chain set.
For those who want it nice and black and inconspicuous, the black DID chain is just the thing. Black plates with silver rollers.
The chain kit comes with a rivet lock.
The kit also includes a chainring (either a black steel chainring or a Stealth chainring in gold/black) and a sprocket.
A bit further down in the description, you have to pack your desired gears to the set.
We recommend you to choose a shorter gear ratio than the original one from Triumph (this is simply much too long for the engine power). We advise a 18 / 45 or even 17 / 45 gear ratio.
Factory gear ratio:
790cc engines: 17 / 43
865cc engines: 18 / 43
Tip:
- We recommend for safety a new sprocket lock plate with the chain set to order (see accessories article in this description).
- In addition, you will find in the accessories still beautiful, black chainring nuts for all who want to have it completely black.
About the DID chain:
As the successor to the proven high-performance chain ZVM2, special attention was paid during the development of the ZVM-X to the diverse loads that occur in everyday life. The tensile strength only indicates the breaking load of a chain determined statically in the laboratory, but not the resistance to the forces that occur in practice.
For this reason, the ZVM-X focuses primarily on strength in use.
