Stealth sprocket. The Stealth sprockets are the most advanced and technically advanced sprockets in the world. The secret is based on the combination of the durability of steel and the lightness of duralumin. Duralumin is predominantly used in aviation and has a slightly greater density compared to pure aluminum. The tensile strength is about 11 times that of pure aluminum. Due to curing, duraluminum almost reaches the strength of steel. Accordingly, a lower weight and a higher resistance have been adopted. The middle parts are manufactured with high precision on CNC-mills and are coated with a thick anodic film which prevents oxidation. Eloxal is (ELelectrolytic oxidation of aluminum). The surface of the aluminum workpiece is converted into an oxide layer in an electrochemical process. This layer is definable in its thickness and makes the products treated in this way wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant. According to experience, the stealth chain wheels last approximately three times longer than pure aluminum chain wheels. The steel sprockets for our Twins are 20% heavier than the Steath chainrings.
