Product information "Zard racing DB-Killer"
Raisch racing DB Killer for Zard short exhaust systems. More sound + more performance through more throughput. Approx. 40% larger hole. With our DB Killer there are now 3 sound variants available for the Zard systems. With original DB Killer, with Raisch DB Killer or without. Our DB killers are without ABE. They are supplied in pairs.
To be honest, with the original DB-killers you only get a very small sound compared to the standard version. Since most of them do not want to drive without DB-killers, we have made this more open variant. It looks like you have a legal DB-killer in it, but it sounds really good! With these db-killers the Zard systems get the sound they need.

If you want to convert your Scrambler to a nice rustic off-road bike, there's no way around the Flat-Track exhaust system!In addition to the look, the exhaust also impresses with its beautifully muffled and rich sound, as befits a 2-cylinder boxer.Of course, a 2-1 exhaust can never be quite as muffled as a 2-2 exhaust. But Zard has really got it right with this exhaust. However, if you want it to be muffled to the max, we recommend the Hardy or Thunderbolt exhaust.
The sound is already audibly better and throatier through the exhaust, but in our ears does not bring the desired AHA effect that one hopes for. We recommend the people who like it a little more throaty and louder, our additional Zard Racing DB-killers to order (See accessories article in this description without street legal). Zard 2-2 slip-on stainless steel exhaust for Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC & XE with E-number (for both the EU 4 and EU 5 models).
The two rear silencers are positioned very close together in order to achieve the slimmest possible line. The large openings created by the slash cut on the end caps make the rear of the bike look even beefier and emphasize the off-road look of the Scrambler.The heat protection plate from the original exhaust system is retained. The accessory heat protection plate, which you can see in two product photos, can be found under the accessory items in this description.
The exhaust also delivers slightly more power than the standard system (see pictures for power curve).
The sound of the Scrambler is already audibly better and throatier with the exhaust, but in our ears it doesn't have the desired AHA effect that you would hope for. A beautiful, short exhaust system for the Bonneville T120 - T100 with E-number for Euro 4 & Euro 5 models. ATTENTION! For the T100 Euro 4 models, the system has no approval! This exhaust is supplied complete with new manifolds, which are then also connected to the original KAT box.
The Zard Short as well as the Slim 2-2 rear silencers have a nice muffled and rich sound. The DB-Eaters are demountable. All mounting hardware is included. The EC-approved rear silencers have an engraved E-number and do not have to be entered in the vehicle documents. This results in a weight saving of approx. 5 kg.
In order to be able to remove the DB-killer on the exhaust system, a difficult to access welding spot must be drilled out and milled away. Zard Short complete system.
Perfect for a conversion in which the rear is shortened and the rear should be as clean as possible. This gives you a really nice free view of the rims.
The exhaust system is a complete system with manifolds. We supply manifold gaskets free of charge. The silencer have removable DB killer, which can be shortened if necessary, even if you want it a bit louder.
Normally, the exhaust system is delivered in stainless steel (untreated) optics (looks very fancy). Optionally, the system can also be ordered in brushed, polished or black (for the items in the accessories of this description with order). For the black coating we use an external company (do not order it directly from Zard, because we are absolutely not convinced of their coating).
Note on the Scrambler: To mount the exhaust system on a Scrambler, the original bracket of the side stand must be cut off.Note on the photos: The cropped photo and the one on the Bonneville T120 are for illustration purposes only (since the exhaust system on the T120 looks almost exactly the same).
