The crossbar is slightly flatter, wider and slightly less inclined towards the rider than the original handlebar (the original width of teh R9T handlebar is 780 mm). The handlebars provide a more front-wheel-oriented riding position, giving the rider more control over the front wheel and the motorcycle.
