This lamp grid was specially designed for the KOSO Thunderbolt LED headlight:

The struts are precisely matched to its design. As a result, the grille integrates perfectly into the modern look of the KOSO Thunderbolt - especially in combination with its daytime running light.

The lamp grille is designed to use either the upper M6 fasteners on the back of the Thunderbolt LED headlight, or the lower ones. This also allows the lamp grid to be combined with a headlight mount that uses the lower rear M6 mounts for attachment.
(For example, our holder for the RnineT.)

The lamp grid is made of stainless steel, which is laser cut, edged and then TIG welded. The edges of the lamp grid are then rounded before it finally receives its satin black finish through a resistant powder coating.

Like all KRT Frameworks parts, the lamp grid is developed and manufactured at our plant in Beelen. For the few jobs that are outsourced to service providers (e.g. powder coating and painting), we work together with companies from the region. This way we can happily give KRT products the label "Made in Germany".

The Thunderbolt LED headlight is a very minimalist and flat headlight. With the headlight (in combination with a matching lamp holder), you can give your machine a really nice flat and close to the motorcycle front. Photos say more than words here.The light of this headlight is simply a poem. It looks on the one hand visually very nice (especially the central strip) and on the other hand it makes the night into day. The headlight is really nice and bright and ensures a safe ride even in the dark. Model specific mounting instructions can be found below in this description. The headlight has for mounting left & right each a M8 thread. On the back are also 6x M6 threads (two each at the top, middle and bottom). Dimensions: Housing diameter: 170 mm / Depth: 84 mm / Distance mounting hole (center) to end of housing: approx. 48 mm. Connectors:3-pin combo plug: yellow = low beam (+) / blue = high beam (+) / black = ground (-) Extra cable: white = position light (+) / black = ground (-)For connecting to a motorcycle that has a conventional glass base connection for the parking light, we offer a suitable adapter (see accessories article in this description)

Koso Thunderbolt headlight plug & play kit for BMW R nineT models. The Thunderbolt LED headlight is a very minimalist and flat headlight. With the headlight you can give your machine a really nice flat and close to the motorcycle front. Photos say more than words here.The light of this headlight is simply a poem. The headlight is really nice and bright and ensures a safe ride even in the dark. The headlight is with E-number and thus street legal. The kit: Includes the Koso headlight and a very high quality and specially developed for the Koso lamp holder from KRT Framework. Who knows the company knows how perfect and sophisticated the part is.The holder can be installed in two positions (high and low, see photos). In addition, you can adjust the headlight in the angle (this is by the way a TÜV regulation. All holders, where the headlight is mounted rigidly in one position, are not StvO compliant). The Grid:Especially for the Koso Thunderbolt, our friend Marvin from KRT Framework has developed an absolutely perfect fitting lamp grid (which can also be seen in some of the product photos).The grille is NOT included in this kit. If you want to have the grille, you can find it under the accessories in this description. For the Euro 4 / Gen-2 models: is also supplied a resistor for the main headlight, which ensures that in the display of the speedometer no error message appears. In order not to have to cut off the original Galssockel adapter for the parking light, we recommend to order the parking light adapter from our assortment in addition (see accessory article in this description). Racer / Urbans GS: Fits both models only when the fairing is removed.
