The Chronoclassic 2 speedometer is a further development of the German motorcycle accessory manufacturer Motogadget, into which more than 20 years of experience have flowed.
Classically elegant design combined with very high-quality materials and absolute high-end workmanship.

The elegant Chronoclassic 2 speedometer is probably the highest quality motorcycle speedometer available on the market. 
The speedometer has a completely metal housing and is manufactured entirely by Motogadget in Germany.
The classic round design (80mm diameter) combined with the flat housing (20mm depth) give the speedometer the perfect overall look and allow you to integrate it perfectly into your custom bike.

When switched off, a closed, black dial provides the perfect look: modern, minimalist and at the same time timelessly classic. The digital display, developed by motogadget, consists of a matrix of 512 tiny, super-bright red LEDs that shine through the dial.

Perfectly readable in direct sunlight, the display contains two lines. The top line displays gear and speed, and the bottom line displays values that can be changed at the push of a button. The illuminated pointer, a perfectly illuminated backlight and the automatic brightness adjustment of the matrix LEDs ensure optimal readability even in dark environments.
The 11 control lights and the LED display are invisible when switched off.

Triumph AC - air-cooled models up to 2015

  • For all models that have a speedometer with an LCD display (kilometer counter) ex-works, an additional breakout box and breakout box A are required for connection. You can find both of these boxes among the accessories in this description.
  • If your Triumph has a factory-fitted speedometer cable, we offer the spacer (this allows you to remove the speedometer cable). See accessories in this description.
  • Among the accessories, you will find a universal mounting bracket to mount the speedometer.
  • If the speedometer is not recessed in a lamp, we recommend ordering the outer cup as well.


Triumph LC - water-cooled models from 2016

  • To mount the Chronoclassic 2 speedometer on one of the water-cooled Triumph Modern Classic models, it is essential to additionally install the Additional Tacho Box LC and the Breakout Box A.
    You can find these under the accessory items in this description.
  • Among the accessories, you will find a universal mounting bracket to mount the speedometer.
  • If the speedometer is not recessed in a lamp, we recommend ordering the outer cup as well.

With the Peak Mod Speedo Box LC it is possible to connect all Motogadget speedometers to the water cooled Triumph Modern Classic models (to date the boxes are not yet available for all Euro 5 models. But some are already available. To be on the safe side, you can ask us for the availability for your bike before ordering). We have the box selbest already installed on some motorcycles and it works really well. The assembly and wiring are really well described and understandable. Assembly instructions and cable assignment diagram can also be found as a download under the downloads in this description. So you can get an idea of the effort in advance. The speedometer box we recommend to mount under the tank of the motorcycles, there is enough space and all cables are very easy to lay.The box is available as a single & dual version. Single: For all models that have only one speedometer installed from the factory. Dual: For all models that have factory installed a speedometer & tachometer.Please specify your motorcycle model + year in the comment field (on the last page in the ordering process) when ordering. For Triumph Bobber & Speedmaster we also offer a mounting plate, with which you can mount a Motogadget Tiny - Speedster - Vintage speedometer on the triple clamp (see accessory article in this description).For all other models you have to build a plate yourself.  Note on the grip heater: If the speedometer box is installed, the original grip heater no longer works (another module is required for this). Motogadget. Break-Out Box. For connecting Motogadget instruments to the injection models with electronic speedometer. Tested by us for 2010/11+2012/13/14/15. Please state motorcycle type and chassis number when ordering! It does not need to be soldered, but must be connected consistently according to our enclosed instructions. The CAN bus installed in the Triumph models reacted immediately by refusing to work if the original instrument was no longer connected. This meant that the desired conversions were hardly possible at this point. The solution, especially for the Twins, is now exclusively available: the mo.tri from motogadget. In addition to information such as speed and rpm, the mo.tri also provides signals for indicator lights: Blinker left/right, tank reserve, fault memory, high beam, neutral, H2O hot, oil pressure. Some indicator lights on instruments with 4 or 5 LEDs have multiple functions. Another big advantage is the almost foolproof installation! The original connector is used and the cables for the instrument and indicator lights are connected to the terminals of the mo.tri using a color scheme. No soldering or searching for cables required. No intervention in the wiring harness. No loss of vehicle warranty. Fast Plug 'n Ride, it couldn't be easier.
