The generous contact surface of the side stand widening offers safe stand even on rough ground and soft subsoil.
Since the Scrambler 1200 is a real off-road motorcycle and is used a lot for it, it makes sense to increase the contact area of the stand. So you don't always have to look for a stone or hard ground in the terrain when you want to park the bike.
The side stand foot is CNC milled from a high-strength aluminium alloy, the anodised surface together with a stainless steel mounting plate ensures a robust hold in all weather conditions.
Grooves on the upper side serve to facilitate the folding out of the stand even with bulky boots.
