A shorter fender? The flashed fender kit from KRT Framework for the Triumph Bobber perfectly combines functionality and aesthetics. A clean fender without a central bead, designed significantly shorter than the original.Unlike the original fender and most other accessory fenders, the flashed fender still has a flare on the side, which underpins a classic chopper handle. Indicators and rear lights are also reduced to a minimum and integrated into the fender struts. Even if you don't notice them at first glance, you can't miss them in action thanks to modern SMD LED technology. Equipped with an E-mark and arranged in such a way that they meet all StVo requirements, you can mount this fender kit in the reassuring knowledge that you are 100% legal on the road. The kit is manufactured entirely in Germany.   Materials used and production method: The fenders are made from the finest carbon. The material is placed by hand in a negative mold and then baked under vacuum and heat. This process makes it possible to produce lightweight and extremely accurately fitting parts. Only high-quality components are used for the materials, including fibers and resins, which are also used for the production of rotor blades. The mounting system, which is connected to the mudguard, is made of laser-cut and folded aluminum. After machining, it is powder-coated black. These brackets are designed so that you can adjust the height of the fender in relation to the tire. The fender struts themselves are made of steel to make them visually slim yet stable. A slotted hole is incorporated in the lower mounting for height adjustment. The turn signal cable exits from the bottom of the fender struts and can be routed directly behind the swingarm tube to enable inconspicuous routing. Our friend Marvin (KRT) carries out all the work steps himself, from mold construction to carbon production and metalwork. On request, owners of a Bobber TFC can obtain a special version in which we use a twill weave. The matt finish visually matches the original carbon parts of the TFC. However, as the TFC is limited, this part is only produced on request. We also offer two ready-painted versions: one in gloss black and one in matt black. Both match the original colors. For those looking for individual color options, an unpainted RAW version is available. This is primed and optimally prepared for a custom paint job by your painter.   The wiring: For many, wiring is a vexing issue and probably the most time-consuming element of converting to the mudguard kit. Without high-quality electronic tools, the whole thing can hardly be carried out professionally. But we also have a plug & play solution for this in our range. The fender struts with integrated lighting are already pre-wired and equipped with a high-quality 4-pin plug on each side. This plug is molded directly onto the end of the cable and sealed watertight thanks to the IP66 protection class. This is particularly important in the swingarm area, where the plug can get a lot of moisture. We have assembled a pre-wired cable harness for the rear for this plug. With this, the mudguard can be easily fitted plug & play. A little tip: If you order a KRT license plate holder at the same time, the license plate light will be supplied with the matching plug for our wiring harness (please contact us personally after ordering). This means you don't have to bother with individual cables during the conversion, but can plug our cable set directly into the original 8-pin plug of the original wiring harness. However, if you prefer to take care of the wiring yourself, we have deliberately left the cables of the fender struts long enough so that you can remove the plugs and connect the electrics yourself.   Accessories and combinable products: To get the perfect overall look, your bobber naturally needs a side license plate holder. Shorty mudguard for Triumph Bobber. The classic among the short fenders for the Triumph Bobber. As the sides of this fender enclose the tire, it has a more classic look, blends in perfectly with the original vehicle line and underlines a classic chopper style. A clear view of the rear wheel combined with a harmonious overall look. If you are out and about in the rain, it will of course only protect you from splash water to a limited extent. However, it does protect the shock absorber, airbox and various cables and relays, which are positioned directly in front of the rear wheel, from dirt, grime and stone chips. It is therefore more suitable for those of you who want to give your bobber a more minimalist line without taking away its classic look. Because without a mudguard, it usually looks a bit strange. The bracket system allows individual positioning of the mudguard: The distance between the fender and the tire is adjustable, so you can adjust this precisely to the chain setting. Even when using different tire types, it is possible to adjust the height of the mudguard optimally. Note, however, that a tire expands at high speeds. A distance of at least 7 mm should therefore be set. For an even more minimalist look, the mounting point for the original chain guard can be removed. Shorty Slim rear wheel fender for Triumph Bobber.Probably the narrowest and sportiest fender available for bobbers. Known from our Race Bobber conversions, on which we install the fender. The fender is just right for you if you want to give your Bobber a slightly sporty touch or even convert it to racing tires (as shown in the product pictures). The short and narrow line offers a very clear view of the rear tire.On the one hand, this provides minimal splash protection (shock absorber, battery, airbox and electrical components are fully protected) and on the other, a short, sporty mudguard looks even better than none at all. The mudguard mounting system allows you to position the mudguard individually. This is because the distance between the fender and tire is freely adjustable. Especially if you are aiming for a sporty look, the mudguard should be positioned close to the tire. This adjustment can easily be made on the suspension system of our fender. The mudguard can also be optimally adjusted when using different tire types. Note, however, that a tire expands at high speeds. Therefore, a minimum clearance of 7 mm should be set. Short Rear Fender Kit Bobber CB11411M / 0
A short fender for the Bobber, which replaces the original, quite long, as well as the huge traffic lights can be omitted. The fender is unpainted, can be painted as desired or simply installed as is, the metal look fits very well to the Bobber (but must then be painted with clear lacquer and powder coated mandatory, otherwise the steel will rust). A matching front fender in the same design is also available (see accessories in this description). The kit was developed as customer-friendly as possible, i.e. all original brackets were taken over, so that the kit can be mounted plug&play without much tinkering. Included are the two milled support braces with integrated tail light / turn signal combination (with E-number). The cables of the turn signals run inside the struts, so that they can be routed as invisible as possible. We recommend to the kit the side license plate holder from our range (see accessories in this description). For easier installation / wiring, we recommend the matching Raisch cable set to order.
