Triumph original Golden Fork black coating.

Many people don't like the original gold of the Thruxton R / RS / Scrambler / Speed Twin RS fork. That's why we offer you to anodize the fork outer tubes in black.

To do this, the removed, disassembled and cleaned fork tubes must be sent to us. Or you can choose the option with assembly, in which case you just send us the removed fork, we disassemble it here on site and then reassemble it after anodizing. Directly with better oil, which improves the response of the fork.

If you would like to have it completely black (as in the first product picture), there are also the options of having the fork feet powder coated in black by us and having the inner stanchions coated in black DLC.

Anodizing & shipping takes between 6 - 8 weeks.

DLC coating in black for fork tubes. Do you want a black fork? Are you not satisfied with the black outer tubes and fork feet? No problem, we can also DLC coat the inner fork tubes for you. Either you send us your removed tubes and we will send them back to you coated, or you send us your complete fork, we will disassemble it and then send it back to you newly coated and reassembled. But please contact us beforehand so that we can make you an offer for the labour costs. Classicbike-Raisch tip:If you would like it all black: we also offer other coatings for the original fork (such as powder coating the fork feet black / anodising the outer fork tubes black). Öhlins 30 mm cartridge for the original fork of the Thruxton 1200 R / RS / FE There is finally a remedy for the very unpopular big-piston technology of the original fork! The standard fork is far too tightly tuned ex works and completely overdamped. It is extremely stiff and uncomfortable. This does not give a good feeling to the front wheel. We also offer a modification of the fork set-up (see other article), which improves the fork considerably, but if you want perfect response and the best damping characteristics, you should definitely go for this cartridge conversion! The difference is really big. We are very convinced. It's simply unbelievable how much confidence you gain in the front and how nicely you can turn in with it. Of course we ride this kit in our own Thruxton!!!   Fully adjustable: spring preload, rebound and compression. This makes the front suspension just as it should be. We have the right spring rate for every weight class. Significantly better and finer response behavior. This means more feedback and performance, but also significantly more comfort! Where it previously rattled, you now glide over it!A must for anyone who values a really well-functioning suspension. Installation instructions are included with the kit. Installation is a little more time-consuming. Special tools are required and you should have specialist knowledge of suspension technology! We are happy to carry out the conversion in our own Öhlins Service Center. Please order the additional article “Einabu Öhlins FKS fork cartridge Thruxton 1200 R / RS” (see accessories in this description) - Öhlins fork springs are also required (see accessories in this description). - Öhlins fork oil is also required (see accessories in this description). - New oil seals are required. We use the best SKF oil seals for this conversion (see accessories in this description). The fork cartridge is supplied with an ABE (general operating permit). This means that it can simply be installed and does NOT have to be registered with the TÜV.   Tip: If you are thinking about black outer tubes or black fork legs for your fork, you should take the opportunity to have this done at the same time (see accessories in this description).
