Product information "OBD Bluetooth Dongel"
This Bluetooth adapter plugs into the OBD connector (under the seat) of your water-cooled Triumph and allows you to connect to the motorbike via Bluetooth.
This makes it possible for you to install our tuning maps.
It also allows you to change the gear ratio on Euro 5 vehicles.
Requirements:
- A mobile phone or tablet with Android operating system

The peak power increases by 13 HP and the maximum torque by 9 NM.Vmax speed limit of 213 km/h is lifted by our mapping.
At 5500 rpm you even get a plus of 13 HP and 17 NM. As you can see from the power curves, the entire, usable rpm range becomes significantly stronger! Also the upper speed range becomes significantly more biting. Here one gains even to the series at 7800 rpm + 18 HP (See performance diagram). The data in the diagrams are rear wheel measurements, see general description in the product group. Our mappings were determined elaborately with a lot of time on the test bench.
These mappings can be played on the vehicle itself via app + Bluetooth OBD adapter (more info see below), so that a plug & play solution results. This saves you having to perform your own tuning on third-party dynos, which are also very expensive. In addition to the increase in power, the result is a more harmonious and finer engine running, as well as a better throttle response. We increase the rev limit by 400 rpm, which is in the absolutely healthy range. This kit is of course without road approval and only suitable for racetrack use. The installation is relatively easy to do yourself.

The original motorcycles have shorter gear ratios: Bonneville T120 37 teeth / Bobber 37 teeth (much too long gear ratio) / Thruxton 1200 & Speed Twin 42 teeth Motorcycle runs much better with the shorter gear ratio over the complete rev range (maximum speed is also not lost). And just below the bike it pushes again differently.In addition, the chainring is black and looks even better.An absolute recommendation from us!Attention at Bonneville T120: Triumph has changed the swingarm length of some models (Thruxton & Speed Twin NOT affected) over the years (new models have longer swingarms).Who has a longer swingarm can only use the 42 chainring in combination with a longer chain (this can be ordered from us on request). Original have the bikes: a 41er chainring outside, which is clearly too long. With the conversion to a 44er chainring, the motorcycles have noticeably more pressure from below. The bike runs much better with the shorter gear ratio over the entire engine speed range (maximum speed is not lost).
