Zard 2-2 Slip on stainless steel exhaust for Triumph Speed Twin & Thruxton 1200. With E-number / road legal (does not need to be registered).
Attention for Thruxton 1200 / R (EU 4 models): For these models, the exhaust is not homologated (will then be delivered with E-number for the SpeedTwin EU4).

Very high quality and well finished stainless steel muffler, in a classic, conical shape. The mufflers are in vergelich to the original, which are quite clunky and disturbing to the eye, nice and snug on the bike.
Who would rather have it a little more minimal and sporty, we recommend the ZARD GP exhaust.

A little more power brings the exhaust compared to the series also (power curve see pictures). But if you really want more power, we recommend our performance kits to install.

The sound is already audibly better and throatier through the exhaust, but in our ears does not bring the desired AHA effect that you hope for. Sound video see below.
We recommend the people who like it a little more throaty and louder, our additional Zard Racing DB-Killer to order (See accessories article in this description without road approval). With the racing DB-killers the bike then has the throaty and nice dull bassy sound that a 1200cc engine should have! The advantage remains that a DB-killer is installed, the bike is not too loud and it looks like everything is original.
To be able to remove the original DB-killer on the exhaust system, a difficult to access welding spot must be drilled out and milled away (takes a little more than half an hour). If you want to have this done by us, you have to order the additional article DB-Killer Ausbau Zard Auspuff CB11514 (see accessories in this description).
Who the sound then still not enough, which must then still install the X-Pipe (cat replacement pipe) (see accessory article in this description).

There is the exhaust system optionally with E-number or as a racing version (without E-number). In addition, the end caps are available in stainless steel (same design as the rest of the exhaust) or carbon (extra charge).

 

For Swiss customers, the exhausts can be delivered with declaration of suitability.

Zard racing DB-Killer

Raisch racing DB Killer for Zard short exhaust systems. More sound + more performance through more throughput. Approx. 40% larger hole. With our DB Killer there are now 3 sound variants available for the Zard systems. With original DB Killer, with Raisch DB Killer or without. Our DB killers are without ABE. They are supplied in pairs.To be honest, with the original DB-killers you only get a very small sound compared to the standard version. Since most of them do not want to drive without DB-killers, we have made this more open variant. It looks like you have a legal DB-killer in it, but it sounds really good! With these db-killers the Zard systems get the sound they need.

X-Pipe / KAT & Front silencer replacement
X-Pipe / KAT & Front silencer replacement CB11302 / 0
These X-Pipes replace the original Cat-Box / front silencer, which provides a much more pithy sound. In combination with an additional open exhaust system you get a really pithy, dull but also loud sound. That's exactly how a 2 cylinder must sound!In addition, there is a weight saving of 1.7 kg compared to the standard catbox. If the X-Pipe is not only about the more beautiful and louder sound, but also about noticeably more power, we advise you to use one of our power kits, in which the X-Pipe is included. Then the whole thing brings also a strongly noticeable performance gain. Click here for our performance kits. The original veneer can be used again, so that the X-Pipe is not optically noticeable.  Do NOT fit to Thruxton TFC!

DB-Killer Zard 400er extension CB11514 / 0
To use the DB-Killer on the Zard exhaust system, a fine welding spot has to be drilled out and milled away. Afterwards the exhaust has to be reworked at the guide for the Segering.If you don't want to do this work yourself, you can order it here, then the exhaust will be delivered with easily removable DB-killers (by snap ring).
