We have deliberately chosen a very high-quality faux leather (with a grain pattern – it looks just like real leather!) for the bench, as it is more hard-wearing and easier to care for. Furthermore, faux leather hardly fades at all and retains its deep black colour.The upholstery consists of various high-quality foams (sandwich construction) to offer the highest possible level of seating comfort.The seat base is made from extremely high-quality, rigid plastic. This allows the base to be kept very thin – the bench is nice and flat, not unnecessarily heavy, yet completely stable.
Assembly
Due to the very narrow seat base plate, the original mounting eyelets in the centre of the frame must be cut off (see the last product photos). Even without these eyelets, the original seat can still be fitted as normal, without any wobbling or other issues. We recommend touching up the cut edge of the frame with black paint to prevent rust.

The Tamarit Monza Seat is a really lovely, narrow and short seat that gives the rear of your Triumph a really sleek look.The shape of the seat further emphasises the beautiful rear frame and its curved arch, as the seat runs directly over the frame, leaving it visible.What’s more, the seat has a particularly clean and attractive transition to the fuel tank. The padding, which rises at the front of the tank, also gives you a bit more seating comfort: when braking hard, you no longer slide against the hard tank, but into the padding.
Materials & Workmanship
The seat is handcrafted in Spain. High-quality fibreglass is used for the base plate, and all Tamarit seats feature very high-quality upholstery foam to ensure the greatest possible seating comfort.The cover is made from one of the finest synthetic leathers available (used in shipbuilding). It looks and feels almost like real leather, but has the advantage of being extremely easy to care for, and you won’t have any problems with a wet seat when it rains.Dimensions: 73 x 25 x 12 cm
Assembly
Fitting is very simple: remove the original seat and fit the new one. The Monza Seat is secured and locked in exactly the same way as the original, using the key lock.PLEASE NOTE: To fit the seat, it is essential to cut off the two retaining tabs on the left and right of the frame (see pictures).Otherwise, it is not possible to fit such a beautifully slim seat. Even without the brackets, the original seat can be refitted very easily and securely – nothing wobbles or slips. We’ve already ridden thousands of kilometres like this on our own Thruxton. The security provided by the lock and the front of the fuel tank is more than sufficient.

The Thruxton 1200 has a beautiful rear subframe with a rounded arch – only you can’t see any of it! It’s a real shame. So we set ourselves the task of building a slim, short seat that fully exposes the Thruxton’s rear subframe. The result is a sleeker silhouette and a rear end that’s second to none (especially when combined with the HeckWeck Kit – see the accessories section in this description). Pictures speak louder than words here.As not everyone has the same taste when it comes to leather, upholstery, shape, etc., we also sell the seat base plate separately. With the seat plate, you can simply go to your trusted upholsterer and have something lovely made for you.The photos are simply examples of what is possible.
The seat base plate is made from extremely high-quality, rigid plastic. This allows the plate to be kept very thin, ensuring the seat is nice and flat, isn’t unnecessarily heavy, and is still completely stable.
Due to the very narrow seat base plate, the original mounting eyelets in the centre of the frame must be cut off (see the last product photos). Even without these eyelets, the original seat can still be fitted as normal, without wobbling or any other issues. We recommend touching up the cut edge of the frame with black paint to prevent rust.

LED rear light - stylish and functional: The integrated LED rear light (incl. e-number) ensures clear visibility and fits perfectly with the clean, open design of the rear. Please note that the position of the rear light does not officially comply with the prescribed standard in the EU, as it is more than 30 cm away from the rear wheel. In practice, however, this is not a problem as the rear light is highly visible thanks to the open design of the Bobber.

Very high quality leather is used for the cover as well as thread for the seams.
For installation, the original padding must be detached from the seat (the Takcer on the bottom of the seat must be removed, then you can easily remove the original cover).The new cover must then be properly aligned and secured with a staple gun. If you don't dare to do this, we recommend that you visit a saddler.
