HeckWeck Tail Kit R9T - Short

All our HeckWeck Kits are very minimalistic rear ends, which make for a really free and clean rear end. Our HeckWeck kits are designed to be fitted with 3-1 turn signals.
This means that the turn signals, tail light, brake light and indicator are integrated at the same time.
For mounting the turn signals, an indicator holder is included, which sits on the number plate. This is variably adjustable in width in order to have the perfect dimension depending on the width of the number plate and the turn signals.

Matching 3-1 turn signals can be ordered as a set below the description with a 10% discount.

In order to be able to legally realise the short number plate holder, we had to reach into the bag of tricks a little. Due to the short rear end of the R9T motorbikes, it is not possible to construct a licence plate holder that adheres to the specified 30° angle and at the same time ensures that the licence plate does not make contact with the rear wheel when the motorbike compresses really hard.
So we came up with an ingenious adjustment for the number plate that makes it possible to adjust the angle of the number plate.
This allows the number plate to be set a little steeper in continuous operation, which of course also looks more attractive. For the TÜV visit or a traffic control, a quick grip with a little force on the number plate is enough and everything is legal. See pictures 2 & 3.
The stop nuts supplied with the kit ensure that the number plate cannot be moved unintentionally while driving.

Included in the kit is an aluminium underbody plate, which replaces the original plastic shell.
For the R nineT Euro 4 & 5 models, the plastic box for the control unit is also replaced. This is unsightly on the one hand because it is made of plastic and on the other hand because it is very low and therefore disturbs the line of the rear area. With the new aluminium sheet you don't have to look at the edge of the box from the side anymore & the rear gets a perfect line.

• Classicbike-Raisch recommends the "R9T cable set for tail light/indicator combination" for easier installation. This allows you to easily connect the 3-1 turn signals without having to cut anything off the wiring harness. 
• For all those who want to be 100% legal on the road, there is also a reflector in the accessories.
• To mount the number plate, we recommend the number plate screw set.
