The SW-MOTECH engine guard offers additional protection against stone chipping and unwanted contact with the ground and gives the R12 a more solid look.
The 4 millimeter thick engine guard can be easily fitted to the original mounting points without drilling or welding using the custom-made steel attachment parts supplied.

Additional protection for the engine against stone chipping and ground contact: Made from a high-quality aluminum alloy, the engine guard shows off its full capabilities off the road, but also gives road motorcycles greater safety and an individual look. State-of-the-art manufacturing processes give the model-specific mudguards a secure fit without compromising ground clearance. The attachment to frame mounting points provides additional stability and enables easy installation.
