Aluminum wheel kit for Triumph Thruxton 1200 R / RS / TFC
The aluminum rims in Y-spoke design give your Thruxton a new & sportier look.
Not only do the rims look great, they also make a lot of technical sense. The rims save a lot of weight compared to the original spoked rims (almost 4 kg in total), which is very noticeable on a rotating mass. The weight saving on the wheels makes your Thruxton more agile and noticeably easier to turn.
In addition, the aluminum rims are tubeless rims.
The rims must be registered with the TÜV for individual approval. This is possible without any problems (we also supply a sample registration form).
The kit is supplied ready to fit with all sleeves, fitting materials and fitting instructions from Classicbike-Raisch.
Weight in detail:
Front: Thruxton original (with inner tube): 5.7 kg - aluminum rim: 4.1 kg
Rear: Thruxton original (with inner tube): 7.5 kg - aluminum rim: 5.2 kg
Dimensions: The rims have the same dimensions as the originals. Front: 3.5 x 17 / Rear: 5.0 x 17 - so you can continue to use your tires.
