Suspension lift suitable for all Triumph Bobber & Speedmaster 1200 models.

Who hasn't experienced this when riding a Bobber? As soon as the nice, winding roads start or you come to a nice big & empty traffic circle, the machine stops.
In itself, the Bobber is a good to ride and agile motorcycle, if it weren't for the very low ground clearance.....

Here is the solution!
As the problem of our Race Bobber touching down early is also very annoying for us, we have developed a suspension lift and now you can finally ride a little faster on bends without having to worry about touching down when riding through traffic circles and making quick turns.
The suspension lift is installed in place of the original strut.

 

The result:

- The footrests are 30 mm higher - the 30 mm more ground clearance is very noticeable when leaning and the Bobber / Speedmaster touches down much later.
- The seat of the motorcycle is 35mm higher.

 

Installation:

We supply installation instructions with the lift. With a little technical understanding, installation is possible without any problems (installation time: approx. 1 - 1 1/2 hours).

 


Classicbike-Raisch recommendations:

If it is really important to you to be able to ride your Bobber as well as possible and to have more fun and safety even on slightly faster rides, we recommend changing the suspension.
To do this, we recommend a new shock absorber and a fork cartridge. You can find both parts under the accessory products in this description.

Öhlins Shock Bobber / Speedmaster CB11603M / RS2
Öhlins shock absorber for the Triumph Bobber / Bobber Black & Speedmaster with adjustable rebound damping and black spring. The original shock absorber is simply far too hard and very uncomfortable (it also has no negative suspension travel). Something has to be done so that you don't get hit in the back with every little bump (which happens very quickly with the sitting position on the bike in conjunction with a bad shock). This is a high-quality separating piston damper and not an emulsion damper like some other manufacturers sell. We supply the shock absorbers with ABE, so that they can be easily installed and do not have to be registered separately. If you want a fully-fledged suspension system on your bobber, we also recommend installing a triple clamp in the fork (see accessories in this description). As there are different spring rates for the shock absorber in order to be able to adjust it to the respective rider weight, please state the rider weight (with motorcycle clothing) in the comments field of the order.

Raisch Fork Cartridge Kit CB10969.1M / RS-3
RAISCH fork cartridge conversion for various Triumph Modern Classic models. We completely convert your fork to a valve-controlled system with new fork springs (adjusted to the rider's weight). This transforms the simple standard fork, which partly works according to the old two-tube system, into a state-of-the-art fork with a fully adjustable cartridge system. The Speed Twin Euro 5 models are fitted with an upside-down fork ex works, but this does not work very well either (see some test reports in motorcycle magazines). Unfortunately, the standard fork is very tough and stiff. With our cartridge conversion, the fork works much more smoothly and sensitively, resulting in a great increase in comfort without sacrificing sportiness and performance, The rebound and compression damping are fully adjustable. The so-called rebound and compression damping is responsible for the rebound and compression speed of the fork. This means that the fork can really be adjusted to all conditions from soft to sporty and firm with just a few turns of the adjusters, resulting in a completely new riding experience. The adjustment range of the rebound and compression damping can really be described as large and effective, which is not really the case with all forks on the market. This conversion must be carried out by a specialist workshop with the appropriate expertise and special tools (e.g. a lathe is required for some models). For this reason, we only offer this conversion as a complete conversion in-house, including parts. You send us the two original damper tubes and everything is sent back to us ready for installation with new oil seals and special Öhlins oil for cartridge forks. Note on the Bobber / Speedmaster:On these motorcycles, the fork is lengthened by 10 mm when the cartridge is fitted. This slightly improves the lean angle clearance of your Triumph. If this is important to you or you need more ground clearance and lean angle clearance, we recommend our lift kit (can be found under accessories in this product description).   The price includes the installation of the cartridge at our premises!
